Warning: Fraudulent Activity Impersonating a Qatari Procurement Agency

It has come to our attention that individuals posing as agents of a fake organization called the Qatar Independent Tender Procurement Agency are contacting companies via email or WhatsApp. They claim to offer procurement contract opportunities on behalf of the State of Qatar and provide a list of products for which they request a quotation.

Once a quote is submitted, the scammers inform you that your company has been awarded the contract. However, they then request a "tender fee"—a common practice in legitimate procurements—to make the process seem authentic. After this initial payment, they continue to demand additional fees under various pretexts.

This is a scam.

The fraudsters have used domain names such as www.qitpa-qa.org and www.qitpa-qa.com, though they may change their names and web addresses frequently.
